Fighting Out of The Black, Red, Green Corner

My fellow Citizens of Malawi and Friends of Malawi, as we celebrate more than forty-nine years of political independence, I would like to take this opportunity to urge each one of us to look harder and choose a cause that we will either support or champion for the sake of uplifting our villages, communities and the nation.

Since making this my pledge on 11/11/2011, I have chosen to be part of several causes and initiatives in my home village and community, and some across the nation. I am proud to say that together with supporters and other individuals who believe in those particular causes and initiatives, we have made and continue to make a difference.

No one else will do it for us but us.

We Can Do This!

Absolutely…the old adage that says that charity begins at home resonates profoundly in what you have embarked on. Worth replicating….we can only be happy when the communities that brought us up and raised us are happy and proud of what we do.
