Mr. Wellington Mbewe – Working Hard For Higher Education

On Workers’ Day, 1 May 2014, I recognize and celebrate one of the people who, for a long time, have been serving Malawi quietly and unsung. Mr. Wellington Mbewe, the Records Man. A human database/encyclopedia of names of students and staff who have passed through the corridors of Chancellor College. Pushing the gears at the Chirunga Campus. God bless him.

I am sure that it cannot be disputed that Mr Mbewe has been at the center of Malawi’s higher education for decades. He deserves an Honorary Degree awarded at least by Chancellor College.
