Malawi, The Warm Heart of Africa


Malawi is a small country with a big heart. I understand why it’s called “The Warm Heart of Africa”–because there are parts of this land that are breathtakingly beautiful. If you take a minute, you can see the beauty and warmth in the people; I have already woken up to 14 gorgeous warm days in Malawi and not a single drop of rain; I’ve been to restaurants and pubs with a friendly and classy feel…and the food? Cooked to perfection. Frankly, the taste of the food in Malawi is almost always more “authentic” than much of the food I’ve consumed in America, but that’s a story for another day.
